Duration:

1 full day or 3x 2 hour zoom sessions

Course Overview

Play and daily routines provide opportunities to create enriched, interactive language-learning environments that include all children. This training will discuss how to foster language development through daily interactions.

Participants will learn how to:

  • identify children’s conversational styles and the role teachers play in interactions
  • implement six steps to following the child’s lead – Observe, Wait and Listen,
  • Be face to face, Imitate, Interpret, Comment, and Join in and play
  • help children become better conversation partners by using appropriate
  • questions, comments and other turn-taking cues
  • use five important steps to ensure that no child is left out of the interaction during group activities

Held at your venue with a maximum of 25 participants

Option 1:
3 full days to cover Program A, Program B and Program C

Option 2:
2 full days that include Program A
Plus either Program B or Program C

Option 3:
1 full day for Program A

Options 1-3 are $2500 + GST per day.

Option 4:
3 x 2-hour training sessions 

$3000 + GST


Teacher Talk Workbooks charged at cost:
$28 each (or $70 for all three programs)
