Course Overview

This face-to-face course has been designed in Australia specifically for professionals who are working in Early Child Intervention (ECI) under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

A one day course that offers a unique opportunity to look at the current research in a small group learning environment and reflect on the role of the Key Worker in a changing environment.

This course reflects the four quality areas of Early Childhood Intervention Australia’s (ECIA) National Guidelines for Best Practice in ECI.

  • Understand the four quality areas of Best Practice underlying Early Childhood Intervention
  • Have an improved understanding of family experiences of raising a child with a disability
  • Gain an understanding of Family-Centred and Strengths-Based Practice
  • Understand the role of collaborative team work in ECI
