Course Overview

This convenient online course covers the basics of good documentation. There are three self-paced modules:

  • Module One: Understand requirements of recording information and complete activities
  • Module Two: Being aware of your organisations’ policies regarding Privacy and record keeping. You will complete activities on document storage
  • Module Three: Understand the NDIS requirements and test your knowledge

On completion of this course participants will be aware of:

  • Best practice policies and procedures relating to good documentation
  • The need for objectivity, accountability, clarity, consistency, completeness, timeliness and accuracy in all written documentation
  • The need for document security and protection of privacy
  • The different audiences who may access the information
  • The legal implications of documentation
  • The NDIS requirements of documentation.
