1 full day or 3x 2 hour zoom sessions

Pre-requisites:

Program A: Encouraging Language Development in Early Childhood Settings

Course Overview

As caregivers of young children, you have a very important role to play in laying the foundation for the development of reading and writing skills. This training will discuss the important links between oral language development and literacy.

Participants will learn how to encourage and support literacy development by:

  • helping children develop a positive attitude towards the use of print
  • choosing books that match children’s interests and stages of development
  • using book reading as a time for interaction and conversation
  • making print a natural and meaningful part of every day

Held at your venue with a maximum of 25 participants

Option 1:
3 full days to cover Program A, Program B and Program C

Option 2:
2 full days that include Program A 
Plus either Program B or Program C

Option 3:
1 full day for Program B (NB Program A must be completed prior)

Options 1-3 are $2500 + GST per day.

Option 4:
3 x 2-hour training sessions

$3000 + GST


Teacher Talk Workbooks charged at cost:
$28 each (or $70 for all three programs)
