Exciting PhD Scholarship Noah’s Ark and RMIT University
Noah’s Ark and RMIT University have developed an industry-university partnership to further develop our knowledge and understanding of inclusive practices in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Noah’s Ark is supporting a PhD scholarship (stipend) valued at $30,000 per annum for 3 years (2019 – 2021). The candidate will be co-located at RMIT’s Bundoora campus and Noah’s Ark Inc.

Investigating inclusive pedagogies for early childhood education and care in Australia: Reconceptualizing learning for children with a (dis)ability in the early years.
The candidate will work with staff from Noah’s Ark and RMIT to develop, create and publish a series of articles that provide valuable knowledge and understanding about:
- The evidence base for practices that support the inclusion and learning of children with disabilities and developmental delays in ECEC programs.
- The opportunities that arise for children’s learning from using evidence-based practices and their relevance to Australian ECEC frameworks.
- The implications of the implementation of evidence-based practices, including for professional development and the organisation of ECEC programs.
