Noah’s Ark Bendigo were excited to be part of NAIDOC Children’s Day, July 10 2019. Hundreds of children attended with their families, carers or education centres and participated in a wide variety of activities.
Each child received a Noah’s Ark bag which contained clapping sticks, a boomerang and book and were offered a lunch of emu, kangaroo, salads and fruit.
The Noah’s Ark stall was popular with many joining the creation of building Bunjil’s Nest and including their own message with the 2019 theme of “Voice. Treaty. Truth. Let’s work together.”
Bunjil’s Nest is now located in the welcoming reception space at Noah’s Ark Bendigo and we hope to have more messages added from all who visit us.
