When we are working with you, there may be times when we need to talk to other people who are involved with your child and family so that we can best help you to achieve your goals. This may include people such as other Noah’s Ark staff, child care and kindergarten educators, paediatricians and family support workers. To enable us to do this, we require your written permission.

We may also want to use your personal information such as your postal or email address to send you information or newsletters. We also need your permission to do this.

If we have concerns about the welfare of a child, we must talk to the Department of Community Services (Child and Youth Protection Services). We will endeavour to discuss this with you prior to releasing any information to the Department, however we are obliged at all times to act in the best interest of the child.

Your privacy is important to us and all Noah’s Ark staff take their responsibility to maintain confidentiality and protect an individual’s privacy seriously. We will follow the guidelines set out in the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 and any other laws regulating Privacy.

If you are happy for us to contact other people or be placed on our mailing list, please complete the Release of Information form supplied to you. If there is anyone you don’t want us to make contact with at any time, please advise us in writing.

You can add further details or withdraw permission at any time.
