Rebecca is an Early Childhood Teacher with nearly 20 years’ experience in a variety of settings including childcare, kindergarten, primary school and Early Intervention. In 2011 she completed a Master of Special Education, Inclusion and Early Intervention through the University of Melbourne. Rebecca now works as a Key Worker at Noah’s Ark in Geelong.
Rebecca’s most notable life experience has been living and working in China for 3 years with her family. It was certainly a ‘different world’ over there and made her appreciate how lucky we are to live in Australia. Rebecca enjoys sailing with her family and has a love of dance and musical theatre.
Rebecca’s professional interests include working with children with an autism spectrum disorder, supporting educators to maintain inclusive practices, and supporting families and educational settings with school transition. Rebecca loves that her work takes her into different early childhood settings where she can learn as much from the educators as they learn from her and is passionate about supporting families to improve their quality of life.
